This is the heart of our trips: wild brook trout in rivers and creeks, wary brown trout, and lake trout on deeper lakes. Depending on the season and conditions, we choose the water that will produce the most action — small forest rivers, pools below rapids or Lanaudière lakes.
Ultralight spinning is the go-to technique for a first trip; fly and drifted bait are available for anglers who want to level up. Gear provided on request.
Beginners: no experience required
Many of our guests had never fished before their first outing. We start on an accessible stretch of water and teach you how to read the river, cast and fight a fish — at your pace. You don't even need waders: water shoes are enough in several sectors.
Private trips (solo, couples, families) or small groups — everyone fishes, everyone learns.
Landlocked salmon
The landlocked salmon (ouananiche) is the treasure of the Laurentian rivers: a freshwater Atlantic salmon that hits hard, jumps and empties your reel. A regular Quebec licence is all you need. The river season is short and spots are limited.
Boat trips: cover more water
Two ways to fish from a boat: the all-inclusive guided boat package (Up to 4 people included at $800 / day · 5 maximum · +$200 for the 5th person) on big lakes, or a trip aboard your own boat (from $160 CAD per person). Ideal for lake trout, landlocked salmon and big group days.
Leaving from Montreal, or meet on site
You can drive to the fishing sector yourself (about 1 h 30 to 1 h 50 from Montreal), or leave directly from Montreal depending on the trip. Sectors are chosen the night before or the morning of, based on water levels, temperature and what produced on recent outings.
