Trout fishing in Lanaudière
Lanaudière combines forest creeks full of brook trout with big, deep lakes holding lake trout and landlocked salmon. The water we fish is generally 1 h 30 to 1 h 50 from Montreal without traffic.
Creeks and rivers
Lanaudière's small water rewards a quiet approach and light presentations. This is walking fishing: we cover ground, read every pool, and release what we are not going to eat.
Deep lakes
Several lakes in the region hold lake trout and, in some sectors, landlocked salmon. A boat day lets us cover the whole water column and adjust to temperature.

Frequently asked questions

- Mostly the type of water. Lanaudière offers excellent brook trout creeks and large deep lakes; we choose the region based on the target species and the week's conditions.
